Warwick Fabrics are delighted that their new SAVILE ROW Wools collection has gained recognition in the Homes & Gardens Fabric Awards 2010 in two categories: Best Fabric collection 2010 (runners up) and Best printed fabric 2010 (special mention).
In the Best Fabric Collection category, the judges comment:
'Warwick has created a smart, usable collection, perfect for a tailored contemporary room.'
This range was inspired by clothing fashion with a bold pinstripe (Savile) matched with a windowpane check (Alderney) and complemented with a contemporary multistripe Jasper. New colours of our popular Amatheon plain wool, a luxurious wool and linen herringbone (Anderson) and a further plain (Tailor), together with PAISLEY, a large scale printed Wool, complete the story.
Despite the cashmere-like softness, Savile Row wools have a hardwearing Rub Test of 90,000, this collection is ideal for all domestic and Contract markets (environments)
Also winning the attention of the judges was the magnificent and sophisticated large-scale Paisley panel design,
'As a throw this luxurious fabric could transform a bed, armchair, sofa or ottoman'
comment the Homes & Gardens judges in the Best Printed Fabric category. This digitally printed 100% wool design would also be stunning as curtains, and on furniture, and is sold as a full panel repeat of 2.77m.
